Tony Sheridan scored a wonder winner to lift Rovers off the foot of the table in a sensational return to eircom League action.

Sheridan, 30, drove home off the outside of his left foot on 67 minutes, 10 minutes after coming on as a substitute.

Eamon Zayed hit his eleventh goal of the season to put Bray in front in the ninth minute of a right roller coaster of a match. Rovers then found themselves in front by the 31st minute.

Willo McDonagh levelled on 17 minutes before Cathal O’Connor put them in front.

Bray equalised through Andrei Georgescu within a minute before Rovers dominated the second half to deservedly win the game.
