Celtic first team coach Tommy Burns has assured supporters that Gordon Strachan will prove his ability as a top class manager if he is given time.

The former Coventry and Southampton boss has seen his team ship nine goals in his first two official matches in charge, including the 5-0 Champions League drubbing by Artmedia Bratislava.
