Kanoute fired up by Cup win

Tottenham striker Fredi Kanoute believes his team will begin the new Barclays Premiership season high in confidence following their Peace Cup triumph.

Spurs brushed aside French champions Lyon 3-1 in Sunday’s final and Kanoute, reportedly a summer transfer target for former club West Ham, has demanded more of the same when pre-season preparations continue against Reading on Saturday.
