Hearts complete Jankauskas signing
Hearts have completed the signing of Lithuania striker Edgaras Jankauskas on a one-year loan deal from FBK Kaunas.
The 30-year-old, who helped Porto win the Champions League in 2004, had been on trial at Tynecastle.
Hearts manager George Burley is hoping his new recruit can prove his pedigree with the Edinburgh club.
He said: “Edgaras is a player we’ve been trying to bring in for a while. He has played at the very highest level right across Europe and so I am sure that he will do very well for us.
“He is a big lad but has a terrific touch. He is a little ring-rusty at the moment as he has only been back in training for 10 days after having six weeks off, but I am sure Hearts supporters will see the best of him soon.”
