Celtic will face Artmedia Bratislava in the Champions League second qualifying round after the Slovakians came from behind to defeat Kazakhstan’s Kairat Almaty.

Trailing 2-0 from the first leg, Artmedia won 4-1 tonight after extra-time to wrap up a 4-3 aggregate success.

Goals from Balazs Borbely and Daniel Tchur levelled the aggregate scores, although when Andrey Bogomolov scored a stoppage time goal for Kairat it looked as though the Kazakhs would progress.

But Jan Kozak’s spot-kick took the match into extra time and in the last seconds of the extra period Pavol Stano netted the decider for Artmedia, who will have home advantage in next Wednesday’s first leg against Gordon Strachan’s side.
