Pearce: Shaun won't go cheap

Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce has warned Chelsea they will not get Shaun Wright-Phillips on the cheap.

The England international dramatically telephoned City chairman John Wardle this afternoon and requested permission to speak with the Barclays Premiership champions, whose £20m bid for the 23-year-old was turned down last night.
