Zayed brace adds to Waterford's blues

Eamon Zayed scored twice to move to the top of the scoring chart as Bray heaped further misery on beleaguered Blues.

Blues failed to build on a ninth minute lead as Eamon Zayed led them a merry dance at the RSC.

Waterford's Niall Andrews punished Bray's defensive hesitancy to lob Chris O’Connor for the opening goal.

But Zayed headed home a David Tyrrell corner to level within four minutes. New boy Andrei Georgescu then showed great skill to beat David Breen and cross for Zayed to side-foot home his second on 23 minutes.

Bray held on to that lead and Zayed moved top of the league’s scoring chart with nine goals.
