Waterford pick up three new players

Waterford United caretaker manager Giles Cheevers has added three new players to his squad for the rest of the season.

Waterford United caretaker manager Giles Cheevers has added three new players to his squad for the rest of the season.

Striker Derek McCarthy has joined from Limerick on loan while former Drogheda United midfielder John Lester has also joined the club having been a free agent since the start of the season.

Also on his way to the RSC is former striker PJ Banville who left the club earlier this year to concentrate on playing Gaelic Football with Wexford.
