Reds reveal Gonzalez talks

Liverpool have confirmed they are in discussions with Albacete to bring winger Mark Gonzales to Anfield.

The 20-year-old Chile international, currently sidelined with a cruciate knee ligament injury sustained in May, was linked with the Reds last month.

“We are in discussions with Albacete with a view to bringing the player to the club on August 1 for a season-long loan,” club spokesman Ian Cotton told www.liverpoolfc.tv.

“The deal is not yet finalised and would be subject to a work permit being granted.”
