Bates bullish at Leeds sale rumours

Leeds chairman Ken Bates has slammed as “contemptible” rumours he has put the club up for sale.

Bates only stepped into the Elland Road hot-seat in January, but has become concerned at a whispering campaign he feels is undermining his efforts to get Leeds back on an even keel.
