McWalter gives UCD win over Bray

Patrick McWalter scored twice as UCD eased into mid-table with this vital win at Belfield.

Stephen Hurley gave UCD’s bright start some substance with the lead goal on 16 minutes, racing through to shoot past Chris O’Connor from Robbie Martin's pass.

But Kieran O’Brien equalised on 25 minutes after good work from Eamon Zayed.

Zayed then put Bray in front ten minutes after the break.

But that lasted just two minutes with McWalter making it 2-2. Paul Whitmarsh then set up McWalter for UCD’s winner 16 minutes from time.
