All-Ireland winner to face Steaua

The winners of the All-Ireland Champions League clash between Glentoran and Shelbourne will face Steaua Bucharest.

The winners of the All-Ireland Champions League clash between Glentoran and Shelbourne will face Steaua Bucharest.

Earlier Glentoran were drawn against Shelbourne in today's Champions League in Nyon today.

The Irish League champions are pitted against the eircom League winners in the First Qualifying Round.

It will be the first meeting in European competition between sides from north and south of the border since Shamrock Rovers beat Linfield in the 1984/85 European Cup.

The first leg will take place in The Oval, Belfast on July 12 or 13 with the return leg at Tolka Park a week later.

The winners will play former European champions Steaua at home on July 26 or 27 with the return leg in Romania on August 2 or 3.
