Waterford caretaker in at the deep end

Waterford United caretaker manager Giles Cheevers faces very little time to settle into his new role following the departure of Alan Reynolds yesterday.

Cheevers must select a side for tonight’s eircom League Cup clash against Cobh Rambers, and it it is expected he will pick a full-strength side as the Blues look to put the last 24 hours behind them.

Cobh are also expected to field a full-strength side as they look to advance in the competition.
