Kilkenny face Cork in League Cup
Cork City take on a Kilkenny City team facing their second game in 48 hours in the eircom League Cup tonight at Turner’s Cross.
Kilkenny lost 1-0 to Cobh Ramblers on Saturday evening and are back in action tonight, and facing another long trip to Cork.
Saturday’s encounter with Cobh has left manager Scully with several injury problems ahead of the match with Paul Leahy, Joey Courtney, Mark Dempsey, Clive Purcell and Brian Mallon all doubtful for the clash.
Cork, meanwhile, will play be without Joe Gamble, Liam Kearney, Colin O’Brien and Denis Behan.
Derek Coughlan and Greg O’Halloran will definitely start while Cillian Lordan could also come into the side as manager Damien Richardson freshens up his starting XI.
