Eircom League to investigate Tolka Park incident

The eircom League has insisted it will investigate Friday’s night’s altercation between Shelbourne chief executive Ollie Byrne and Shamrock Rovers’ manager Roddy Collins.

Byrne was annoyed over a radio interview given by Collins during which he claimed Shelbourne would win nothing this season and started an argument with the Rovers manager during which blows were reportedly exchanged.
