Routledge on verge of Spurs deal

Wayne Routledge appears set to join Tottenham after the club agreed a fee with Crystal Palace for the winger.

Routledge, 20, made a huge impression at Selhurst Park but had been expected to leave following relegation from the Barclays Premiership last season.

A statement on the official website, www.spurs.co.uk, read: “The club is delighted to announce that we have agreed a fee with Crystal Palace for Wayne Routledge to join us at the start of July.”
