Lineker tells of frustration over 'murky' transfer deal

Gary Lineker told the British High Court today of his frustration at the “murky” transfer of soccer star Harry Kewell from Leeds to Liverpool.

The Match Of The Day anchorman and former England captain, who told Mr Justice Eady and a libel jury that he had never been booked or sent off in his 17-year career, said he felt he had to write about the issue in his newspaper column.
