Longford begin defence of FAI Cup

Kilkenny City will be without Pat Scully (ankle) and Brian Mallon (knee) for the game. Finn Harps will be at full strength.

Meanwhile, FAI Cup champions Longford Town kick off their defence against Munster Senior League side Waterford Crystal at Flancare Park.

Longford will be without the suspended Barry Ferguson and injured Davy Byrne for the clash though, otherwise, are at full strength.

Waterford Crystal boast the talents of several former Waterford United players though one of them, Brendan Rea, is ruled out as are Stephen Hall, Niall Hogan and Keith Ryan.
