Rams want 'real reasons' for Burley exit

Derby chairman John Sleightholme today accused manager George Burley of not giving “his real reasons” for resigning as Rams boss.

In a statement released to the Press Association, the 49-year-old Scot had said his decision to quit was “a result of an ongoing issue which has proved impossible to resolve” and which had made his position “increasingly untenable“.
