East end welcomes home the Hammers

The heart of east London turned claret and blue tonight as thousands of West Ham fans flooded the streets to celebrate the club’s much-needed return to the Premiership.

Manager Alan Pardew and his men, who clinched a 1-0 win in the Championship play-off final against Preston, received a rapturous welcome as they kicked of their victory parade towards their home ground.
