Viana wants future resolved

Newcastle midfielder Hugo Viana expects his future to be decided within two weeks as he attempts to secure a permanent return to his native Portugal.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Magpies in an £8.5m (€12.5m) move from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2002, admits he is still unsure where he will be playing next season after his former club failed to come up with an acceptable offer at the end of his season-long loan.
