Posh go for Wright

Peterborough today unveiled Mark Wright as their new manager as they prepare for life in Coca-Cola League Two.

The former England and Liverpool centre-half has been without a job since leaving Chester last summer, a day before their return to the Football League.

Peterborough owner Barry Fry, who has stepped down as manager, revealed he had 91 applications for the position he vacated but has decided to hand Wright the task of helping Posh bounce back to League One.
