Reid right back in the reckoning

Steven Reid believes he has provided Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr with food for thought upon his return to the international fold.

Blackburn midfielder Reid yesterday ended 13 months out of the Ireland picture, due to injuries and loss of form, by playing at right-back during a 1-0 win over Celtic at Parkhead for Jackie McNamara's testimonial.
