Players hail O'Neill
Celtic players have paid tribute to Martin O‘Neill following his decision to step down as manager to spend more with his wife, who is battling illness.
Gordon Strachan will take over the Parkhead hotseat on June 1 but Neil Lennon - who played under O‘Neill at both Leicester and Celtic – admits he is devastated to see the departure of his mentor.
He told Scotland Today: “I‘m pretty sad about it.
“I‘ve had five great years here with him and I would love to have seen him carry on.”
Bobo Balde added: “I always took the positives from him and what he has given me has been phenomenal.”
