Harps to sign Republic of Ireland defender
Finn Harps are set to snap up Republic of Ireland left back Stephen Capper on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old has had spells at Sunderland and Scarborough but has been playing non-League football in England for the last few months after a move to Sheffield Wednesday fell through.
Harps’ boss Felix Healy used Capper, who captained the Republic of Ireland at the World Youth Championships in 2003, in a friendly earlier in the week and is now set to sign him.
