UK businessman to invest in Shamrock Rovers

Newcastle-based business man Brian Quigley will be officially confirmed as Shamrock Rovers’ new investor by Examiner Neil Hughes on Friday.

Quigley beat off competition from 11 other bidders to take control of Shamrock Rovers and is likely to take over the day-to-day running of the club in the next few weeks as Rovers look to rebuild.
