Wigan manager Paul Jewell has been offered a three-year extension to his contract which will keep him at the JJB Stadium until 2008.

Wigan manager Paul Jewell has been offered a three-year extension to his contract which will keep him at the JJB Stadium until 2008.

The 40-year-old had 12 months left on the deal he signed before winning promotion for the Latics and owner Dave Whelan wants to reward him for his success.
