Former Chelsea and Newcastle manager Ruud Gullit has quit as coach of Dutch giants Feyenoord.

Former Chelsea and Newcastle manager Ruud Gullit has quit as coach of Dutch giants Feyenoord.

The Dutchman decided to resign after a disappointing season in which the Rotterdam side finished fourth in the Eredivisie, 25 points behind champions PSV Eindhoven.

Gullit was under contract until the end of next season, but has decided to leave along with his assistant Zeljko Petrovic.
