O'Callaghan looking for new City deal
Cork City star George O’Callaghan has said he wants a new contract to remain at Turner’s Cross.
O’Callaghan, aged 25, is out of contract at the end of the season and wants to extend his time with his home town club after joining Cork from Port Vale in 2002, though he admits that, if he does leave, he would consider a move back to Britain.
“I’d find it very hard to play for any other club than Cork City,” said O’Callaghan. “Hopefully, the club will offer me terms to stay here. I’d find it hard to leave. But if a good English club or maybe even a big Scottish club came in then I’d have to consider that.”
