Ricketts to join Wolves permanently
Winger Rohan Ricketts is to join Wolves permanently after spending two months on loan during the latter stages of 2004-05.
Ricketts, who scored one goal in seven appearances for Wolves between mid-March and the end of the campaign, was released by Tottenham last week.
The 22-year-old has agreed to join the Molineux club on a two-year deal once his Spurs contract formally expires at the end of June.
Wolves also have the option of extending the deal by a further year.
âI am really looking forward to next season,â said Ricketts. âIâm excited by the prospect of being involved with a club of this status and with such a great chance of getting back in the Premiership.
âI had offers from other clubs â both in the Premiership and the Championship - but thereâs such a big opportunity here, I couldnât pass it by.â
