Dennis Bergkamp tonight confirmed he will staying at Arsenal next season after being offered a one-year deal.

The 36-year-old Dutchman, substituted during the second-half of the Gunners’ FA Cup final win over Manchester United, afterwards ended the uncertainty over his Highbury future.

Bergkamp told BBC Radio 5 Live: “I’ll be here (next season), yes. It will be okay.”

Asked if he had been offered a one-year extension to his current contract, Bergkamp replied: “For one year, yes”.
