Reyes, Alonso and Garcia named in Spanish squad

Jose Antonio Reyes has received a boost ahead of the FA Cup final by being named in the Spain squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Liverpool duo Xabi Alonso and Luis Garcia also figure in Luis Aragones’ 27-man squad for the matches against Lithuania and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Highly-rated Villarreal goalkeeper Jose Reina, who has been linked with a move to Anfield, has also been named in the squad.
