Clubs on lookout at Larkin leaves Mansfield

Eircom League clubs have been alerted to the availability of Dundalk-born Colin Larkin after he was released by Mansfield Town.

The 23-year-old striker, who has scored over 60 goals in his career in England, has been let go by Mansfield after falling out with manager Carlton Palmer and is thought to be keen on a return to Ireland.

He cannot join an eircom League club until July though it is believed that a number of clubs are keen to sign him.
