Rangers linked with Glenn Hysen's son
Rangers have targeted Sweden international Tobias Hysen, according to the player’s father Glenn, the former Liverpool star.
Glenn, played for Liverpool between 1989 and 1991 and looks after his son’s interests.
Hysen junior is currently with Djurgardens and is understood to be valued around the £1m (€1.45m).
He told Sweden’s Aftonbladet: “I am aware that Glasgow Rangers are interested seriously and it would be up to the clubs to make an agreement because Tobias is under contract until 2007.
“It would be up to Tobias then whether he moved to Glasgow. I have an opinion on whether it would be a good move for him, but I will share my thoughts with Tobias and not the media.”
The 23-year-old is a left winger and that flank is certainly the one that concerns Rangers manager Alex McLeish the most.
Left-back Gregory Vignal is set to leave in the summer and Michael Ball might be sold, with Fulham once again linked.
