Leishman accepts Dunfermline job
Jim Leishman this morning accepted the Dunfermline manager’s job for a second time after masterminding their Bank of Scotland Premier League survival.
He took over on May 3, a day after the departure of Davie Hay, and his impact has been incredible, having delivered two victories against Dundee and Dundee United which have all but staved off the relegation threat.
Leishman has told the board he will take on the role on a permanent basis but did not want a contract, so he can stand down and continue as director of football at any time.
Chairman John Yorkston said: “Jim Leishman has got the job, having accepted our offer.”
