Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon was thrilled with the news that his side had reached the Setanta Cup final after Portadown beat Cork City 1-0 at Turner's Cross.

Fenlon did not even watch the game in which a Cork 2-0 victory would have seen them reach the final at Shelbourne's expense but admitted his delight at the result afterwards.
