Cork City on goal trail

Cork City will be on the goal trail tonight when they face Portadown in the Setanta Cup with a place in the final at stake.

A victory by two clear goals, or winning 4-3 or by one goal in a higher-scoring game would ensure Cork climb above Shelbourne into top spot in Group Two and book a place in Saturday’s Tolka Park final.

Cork goalkeeper Michael Devine (suspended) is ruled out meaning Mark McNulty will start while John O’Flynn could be on the bench.

Portadown travelled to Cork yesterday without the suspended Cullen Feeney while Marc McCann and Keith O’Hara are very doubtful with knocks.
