Dave Mooney hit a stoppage time equaliser to salvage a point for Rovers – though they drop to the bottom of the table having been docked eight points for accounting irregularities.

It was a goal Saints won’t want to see again. With 92 minutes up on the clock, poor defending presented Mooney with the ball and he scrambled it home off a post.

Saints had led from the 70th minute when Russell Payne fumbled Keith Fahey's shot into his net.
