Young duo may get Saints call

Southampton manager Harry Redknapp will consider young strikers Dexter Blackstock and Kenwyne Jones for places on the substitutes bench to give his side aerial options against Manchester United.

With Peter Crouch suspended, he has little other option but to start with Kevin Phillips and Henri Camara in attack and trust an unchanged back-four line-up, but midfielder David Prutton comes straight back into the squad and may also be a substitute after an 11-match suspension.

Saints are currently third from bottom and will go all-out to win to give themselves a chance of avoiding relegation.
