Shels to face Derry in FAI Cup

The second round FAI Cup draw has taken place with a number of interesting ties.

Holders Longford Town will face Waterford Crystal at home while last season’s runner’s up, Waterford United, take on St Patrick’s Athletic.

But the tie of the round is Cup favourite’s Shelbourne’s clash with in-form Derry City at Tolka Park.

Elsewhere Shamrock Rovers face Donegal men Fanad United, Monaghan United face local rivals Dundalk, Galway United take on Cork City and Bohemians face in-form Athlone Town.
