Athlone 'must raise game'
Athlone Town manager Stephen Kelly has asked his side to raise their game ahead of tomorrow night’s first-division clash with Dublin City.
"Dublin City are a very strong and experienced side with a lot of in depth strength. They are on a great run at present and confidence is high,” he said.
“The lads know that they have not been playing as well as they can and with the first series of games drawing to a close we are still in touch with the leaders, which is a positive. A few good results over the next few weeks will keep us on the leaders’ shoulders and in the race.”
Steven Gavin, Damien Rush, Alan O’Connor and Graeme O’Keeffe are all doubts for the midlanders.
