Waterford United's Doherty ruled out for a week

Waterford United on-loan defender Kevin Doherty is out of this Friday's clash with Derry City at the Brandywell after suffering a facial injury in last week’s 1-0 victory over St Patrick’s Athletic.

Doherty was carried off in the dying minutes of last week’s game and needed six stitches in a cut just beside his eye following the game.
