Kamara bears load at Portsmouth
Manager Alain Perrin handed record signing Diomansy Kamara the task of gaining Portsmouth the point they require to cement a place in the Zurich Premiership next season.
With Lomana LuaLua ruled out for the remainder of the campaign with a hamstring injury, Karama was named alongside Aiyegbeni Yakubu in a Pompey side still on a high from their stunning win over Southampton last weekend.
Alex Rodic was handed his first Premiership start, while Aliou Cisse and Linvoy Primus also returned to a side lacking Patrik Berger, Steve Stone and Andy Griffin.
City, who still have an outside chance of landing a UEFA Cup spot next term, were unchanged, as they looked to complete their first six-match unbeaten run in the Premiership since 1994.
