10-man Bohs rescue point
Drogheda United 2 Bohemians 2
Drogheda had Sami Ristila sent off as Bohs stormed back from behind to earn a point tonight.
The United Park crowd enjoyed a goal fest in the opening half hour.
Gavin Whelan headed Drogheda in front from Shane Robinson’s corner on 16 minutes.
Robinson then showed terrific cleverness to outfox Bohs keeper Matt Gregg to curl a 25-yard free-kick to the net to double that lead seven minutes later.
Tony Grant got Bohs back into the match on 31 minutes, finishing off after Jimmy Aggrey and Stephen Ward worked the ball through to him.
Ristila made life difficult for Drogheda by getting himself sent off for a clumsy tackle on Gareth Farrelly on 61 minutes - his second yellow card.
Bohs duly levelled on 77 minutes when Grant, who had earlier hit a post, crossed for Fergal Harkin to tap in at the back post.
