UCD hope to shake memory of defeat
UCD will hope to put last week’s 3-2 defeat by St Patrick’s Athletic behind them when they face a Derry City side still smarting over last week’s defeat by Shamrock Rovers.
The students claimed a fine victory over Waterford United at Belfield Park two weeks ago and they will hope to repeat that trick though a virus that has swept through their squad has hindered preparations.
Gary Dicker is definitely ruled out though Alan Mahon and Anthony Murphy are both hopeful of being passed fit.
Derry City have doubts over Stephen O’Flynn (knee) and Gareth McGlynn (ankle) though manager Stephen Kenny insists he will not make wholesale changes after watching his side lose for the first time this season against Shamrock Rovers last week.
