Three clubs in chase for Prso, claims agent

Dado Prso’s agent claims Aston Villa are just one of a number of clubs chasing the Rangers striker.

The Croatian international has been linked with a summer move to Villa Park even though he has two years left on his current deal at Ibrox.

His agent Ranko Stojic insists the 30-year-old is happy at Rangers – but that he would be even more willing to stay if his deal was extended by another year.

He told the Scottish Daily Express: “It‘s not just Aston Villa but two or three clubs. Dado is a striker who can play at the top level and everybody wants players like that.

“I have great respect for Rangers and Dado is happy there, so I don‘t think we will need to do anything with another club.

“But I think it is important for Rangers to show they still have ambition. I think it would be good for the club and the player if we could open negotiations over an extra year on his contract.”

Meanwhile Gregory Vignal says Rangers‘ preparations ahead of last weekend‘s Old Firm game were thrown into turmoil when they were evacuated from the team hotel and their coach was the target of vandals.

He said: “We had a heated build-up to the game. We had to evacuate our hotel and the team bus was damaged.”
