Norwich were today looking to climb off the bottom of the Barclays Premiership with a third successive home win as Charlton came to Carrow Road.

The Canaries have breathed new life into their survival bid with victories over Manchester United and Newcastle, but still need other results to go their way if they are to stay up.

Darren Huckerby had been struggling with a virus and ankle problem, so manager Nigel Worthington put him on the bench, with Mattias Jonson starting on the left of midfield.

Charlton, who remain in the hunt for a European place next season despite their recent poor run of form, were without Hermann Hreidarsson, who had a knee injury, so fit-again Luke Young slotted in at left-back.
