Cork City U21 manager in charge for semi-pro tournament

Cork City Under-21 manager Stuart Ashton has been appointed manager of the Republic of Ireland squad for the 2005 Four Nations semi-professional tournament which takes place in Cork next month.

England, Wales and Scotland will compete in the round-robin competition which takes place from Tuesday May 24 to Saturday May 28.

The tournament kicks off with Wales taking on Scotland at St Colman's Park, Cobh at 3pm on May 24, while Ireland host England at Turner's Cross at 7.45pm that evening.

Ireland take on Scotland in Cobh Ramblers' home ground two days later and play Wales in their final match at the Cross on Saturday May 28 at 3pm.
