Pearce set to keep Wright-Phillips on bench

Shaun Wright-Phillips is likely to remain on the Manchester City bench on Wednesday despite his return to action at Fulham over the weekend.

The England winger was handed a 28-minute substitute appearance in the 1-1 Premiership draw at Craven Cottage after recovering from knee surgery.
