Clemence returns for Birmingham

Birmingham midfielder Stephen Clemence is available again for the Saturday evening visit of Alain Perrin’s Southampton side.

The former Tottenham player has been ruled out of the last two games with a chest injury suffered in the derby with Aston Villa.

But he may have to settle for a place on the bench after the impressive form of Mehdi Nafti in the 1-1 draw at Chelsea last weekend.

Midfielder Muzzy Izzet is on course to return to full training next week after his lengthy lay-off with a knee problem.
